Cake with Giants

She put another pebble in the water. It grounded her, and made the elephant smile. The giant animal with painted eyes, served her a slice of lavender lemon cake. She thought, "This is nice, the cake is warm and sweet, just how I like." The girl and elephant began to giggle at the crumbs on his trunk. The girl took an old scarf from her basket and wiped his mouth. He said, "Thank you, I have something I think you want to know."

And with that, a moment passed, the wind changed direction, the water began to ripple. He leaned toward the girl to her left ear, and whispered the prince's name to her. The girl smiled. She said, "I love him, you know that, and this secret is just what I've been waiting for." Then they began to dance. And the secret that was once shared with the trees, was now just a whisper between an elephant and a girl.

Heart Shaped Morning

My life is like walking through a poetic dreamworld. Where the city is made of glass and the sky is broken into pieces, lovely pieces of an above solitude that only the Father can remit. The pieces fall everywhere, like stars. Revealing nothing more than a heart shaped morning, mysteriously set free.
