Two a zero and the number Eleven
Wishing you all a poetic, sensual, sacred, blissful time tonite. This is a magical time. The first 12 days of every month are sacred. Fresh ideas come early, so get up with the sun. Be kind to yourselves. Establish good habits the first 2 weeks of January and you will see a change. Have a prosperous night, & a prosperous now.
(((Make love)))
Love to u bright souls, thank u Father for another day. ♥

Pina by Wim Wenders
what synchronicity. i just finished watching wender's "wings of desire," (one of my favorite film makers of all time), and after doing some research i had a serendipitous discovery / a wim wenders film about choreographer pina bausch (my favorite choreographer of all time). pina died the same week as michael jackson. wim and pina both have this way of creating pieces about life and submerging you into danse, poetry and reality. a delicate combination that can only be done by the chosen ones.
i'm inspired each time i see his films and each time i see her danse pieces. i dreamed of working with pina as a danser and collaborator.
he's compiled a piece, a new revolutionary danse film for Pina and about Pina for Berlin's film fest in 2011!
cleaned and burned
dried figs under my nails sacred water
consecrates rain that fill bottles
of ganges and nile river azure green
i bought a pyramid with a lantern last night
my stomach recognizes the whispers made by bile
love moves the dust in my mouth
spitting out incense and clay memories
queen Sheba's blood is under my nails
king Solomon's teeth are found in my palm

Adam and Eve
I used to think some people were pretty decent. But until late, there was an artist, that used to outwit people. Follow people until they became so impatient, they had to fight back.
After some hours, the space always would grow peaceful again. Observing one another, one day the artist realized how he was prejudice. If he had a chance to defend his thoughts about the world, he believed he could do so.

aisles of the insane
why do people feel the need to lie at the airport? wearing heels, linen suits, fedora hats, tons of make-up, uncomfortable wears...I detest the airport. people strip down to the most banal acts of non-thinking! did you know that we lose about 80% of our intellingence once we step into an airport?
this one couple had on mathcing caps. lies! they're all reading the magazines and books they will NEVER read again. where does it all end? i think people actually believe the scam they put out there.
i like trains and bus terminals.

ephemeral lies
I've been thinking about our modern society way of thought concerning sexuality. Do we learn how to procreate by evolution or by television and film? If I'm talking to a man, and begin flirting do I become myself or the idea of myself? Or do I just lie? I think without media, we would be very primitive. So maybe media, some media is a good thing. We can learn by observing others...perhaps.

Possible Sky
First East African skate-park. Artist, Yann Gross. Works from his 2010 show Kitintale. I love skate culture because it is full of rebels, and outcasts. Youth, wonder, lonliness, and hope. All the things that make up good leaders, artists, and a sub-culture community. What I like about Yann's work is that he was able to capture the beauty, the beginnings, of a movement.

Filthy Dirty Things N°5
Artist Dusdin Condren. Images from his current collection. What I love about his work is the play on space. The dialouge he has between the lens and his use of the environment.

Gravity
A piece from Mia Michael's collection of choreography.
Genius woman.
She challenges me to move through the present - on going to the future.
Nothing in this studio, with it's electric silence will cripple me.
Look to the blank canvas - a new piece - with an electric light of beautiful mystery.
Not beautiful misery.
